What is the Wild and Scenic Music Fest?
The Fest brings together incredible music and generous people in a magical location to help raise money to support the Wild and Scenic Institute , an organization dedicated to providing environmental education and outdoor recreation to disadvantaged youth. Everyone involved in the event has given generously of their time, expertise and enthusiasm.
Where is the Festival Located?
The Fest is located in the magical Icicle Creek Canyon near the Bavarian village of Leavenworth, Washington. A place filled with natural beauty, long sunny days, and beautiful star-filled nights.
How Long Does the Festival Last?
The festival kicks off Friday night with a Barn Dance , great music and square dancing. Saturday, gates open at noon. Come to the meadow for jamming and great food and drinks from the area's finest. The festival ends Saturday night with the Canyon Wren Party, 9:30-11:00 pm.
Jamming and Instrument Storage
Bring your instrument, jam in the meadow before the Meadow Main Stage Concert begins and between acts. Instrument storage will be available on site. Parking is within walking distance of the meadow, you can return your instrument to your car if that feels more comfortable. Instrument storage will close at 9:00 after the main stage concert.
Do I Have to Buy Additional Tickets to See Certain Shows?
Yes and no. Tickets for Saturday are $25 with kids under 12 free. The Barn Dance on Friday night is $8 per person, but does not include kids, because we have a limited number of tickets that can be sold. The Canyon Wren Party on Saturday night is also limited, but part of the Main Event, and wristbands will be available to the first 100 ticketholders that request one at noon on Saturday.

What Are My Lodging Options?
Leavenworth has an abundance and variety of lodging options, from camping to top of the line spas, vacation homes and cabins. Visit www.leavenworth.org for additional information about lodging.

Are there Any Recommended Places to Eat?
The Fest will feature food from local restaurants, a beer garden, and wine tasting. In addition there are numerous places to eat in Leavenworth. All your eating drinking requirements can be met at the Fest.

What Else Do I Need to Know?
We’re looking forward to seeing you at the Fest! Come enjoy the day and know that your participation is helping to support the Wild and Scenic Institute. All your eating and drinking needs can be met at the Fest. We’ll have great food from local restaurants, a beer garden, and wine tasting. The Icicle Creek Music Center is a non-smoking facility. There is no smoking on any part of the grounds.
